Professional Counselling in Poole, Dorset with Tracy Daniels

Picture
Integrative Counselling in Poole, Dorset
I’m Tracy, a qualified integrative counsellor, clinical hypnotherapist, and mindfulness teacher helping adults, children, and young people across Dorset and the UK find clarity and lasting emotional well-being. I provide a safe, confidential space to navigate anxiety, stress, and life transitions.

Who can benefit from counselling?

When everything seems too much or you just know you can’t deal with things on your own anymore, I am here to help.
Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether it’s anxiety, worrying, overthinking, stress, burnout, health issues, relationship difficulties, family problems, grief and loss, low self-esteem, depression or the challenges of not quite fitting in with everyone else, I can offer you a safe and supportive space in which to explore your thoughts and feelings.

Who I work with

I work with adults, young people, and children aged 11+ and I offer a friendly, inclusive, and neuro-affirming practice. I specialise in anxiety, low mood, depression and neurodivergence. The areas of counselling I deal with are listed below.

My approach to counselling

I provide emotional and mental health support by using person-centred, therapeutic counselling. I can integrate the modalities in which I am qualified and experienced (counselling, solution focused brief therapy, hypnotherapy, and mindfulness) to provide a warm, empathic, and personalised approach to meet your individual needs.

I stay at the forefront of the latest developments through regular CPD, clinical supervision and advanced studies in psychotherapy. I also work within the community as a counsellor for the NHS.  Formerly, I was a volunteer with Full Circle Counselling within Bournemouth YMCA, supporting vulnerable people in the local area.

How counselling works

Person-centred counselling involves empowering you to work toward finding your own solutions. We will work collaboratively with whatever you bring to the counselling session. You set the agenda for each session so I do not make you discuss anything you don’t want to talk about. You don’t have to explore your past or childhood issues if you don’t want to. We mainly work in the “here and now.”  However, if you do want to process your thoughts about past events then that is possible too.

Neurodivergent support

Additionally, my training in delivering individual programmes as a former SEN lecturer informs the way in which I work with clients who have additional needs or who are neurodivergent. If you are struggling with the challenges of ADHD or autism, then I can support you with those challenges. My teaching experience in further and adult education for over twenty years included working with learners who are neurodivergent.

Arrange a free consultation

The therapeutic relationship with a counsellor is important. You must feel that you are comfortable and that you can trust me. I am happy for you to arrange a free, no obligation, initial thirty-minute consultation over the phone, online or in person. Contact

I offer in person sessions in Broadstone, online and telephone sessions (available across Dorset & UK-wide).
