Hypnotherapy for Anxiety
Anxiety is a common mental health condition that affects
a large proportion of the population in the UK. In fact, according to the Office for National Statistics, in 2022/23, an average of 37.1% of women and 29.9% of men reported high levels of anxiety. People of all ages and backgrounds may experience anxiety at some point in their life. It is not commonly well known that hypnotherapy and mindfulness can help with anxiety, so that is something you may want to consider.
Ten years ago, I began to study neuroscience (how the brain works) which informs my method of working. Since then I have had the opportunity to help numerous people with problems with anxiety and anxiety related issues. Although I help people with a wide range of problems, I am an anxiety specialist.
Generally, most people see me for clinical hypnotherapy which has many benefits, and some clients are also happy to explore mindfulness-based practices to help them manage their symptoms. Regardless of whichever approach I may use, most of my clients find sessions with me deeply calming, relaxing and uplifting.
These are some of the beneficial effects of my anxiety relief hypnotherapy sessions:
Healing: You will experience the deeply relaxing, soothing, and calming effects of trance hypnosis.
Transformative: You will learn how to manage your thoughts and feelings, to release old patterns of behaviour and to regain a sense of control in your life. I will help you to reframe the way in which you think and effectively help you to “rewire” your brain. I enjoy using solution focused therapy for anxiety because I know it is remarkably helpful for my clients.
Educational: You will understand the relationship between your conscious mind (thoughts, actions, and behaviours) and your subconscious mind (what is driving your fears, worries or phobias). You will be taught simple techniques to help you manage your anxiety symptoms and conquer the vicious cycle of negative thinking and feeling anxious or stressed.
Relaxing and safe: If you feel safe you will more than likely feel able to relax and get the most from your sessions with me. My approach is gentle and caring yet impactful. I realise that you may feel anxious about trying hypnosis for the first time so I will explain everything to you beforehand and adapt my method of working to suit your individual needs. I want you to feel safe, relaxed and comfortable.
Potentially life changing: You have the power within you to do this and I will support you with throughout the process so that you have a solid foundation of knowledge, skills, and practical solutions that work for you. This will enable you to move forward with your life and help to prevent the same problems recurring in the future.
Free Resources: I will provide you with a hypnotherapy recording to listen to in between sessions, or whenever you wish, which will reinforce the solution focused aspects of talking therapy covered during your sessions with me. Bespoke recordings are available for an additional price.
